Vasileios Moiras is a highly experienced Global Service Solution & Portfolio Manager with over 13 years of relevant experience. He is currently working with Siemens Mobility GmbH as the Global Service Solution and Portfolio Manager for the Intelligent Traffic Systems Business Unit. In his current role, he is responsible for leading a global digital transformation program based on the MS Dynamics 365 Platform, supporting the deployment of alternative business models for service delivery, developing a unified digital global process environment for the service business, and defining and monitoring financial targets for various countries. Vasileios has a strong track record of success in his previous roles. He has worked with Siemens Greece as the Head of Mobility Customer Services, Mobility Division, and Head of Intelligent Traffic Systems Services, Mobility Division. In these roles, he was responsible for coordinating the road and rail services of the Mobility Division, managing the operation and maintenance of the Athens Traffic Control & Management Centre, and leading a 30-person department involved in various Traffic Signaling and Traffic Management projects. He has also achieved a 35% cost reduction in repairs of technical components by establishing a local repair lab. Vasileios holds an MBA International from Athens University of Economics and Business, an MSc in Control and Information Systems from the University of Duisburg-Essen, and a specialized degree in Mechanical Design and Automation Systems from the National Technical University of Athens. He has a strong tech stack that includes web technologies. In addition to his academic qualifications and technical skills, Vasileios is a strategic thinker who has initiated and supported business development activities in various countries.
